Badon Hill - St George's Day Game

The Club is finally back to organising some all day games kicking of with a resumption of the traditional St George's Day game.

This time around it's going to be a rematch of the Battle of Badon Hill, in the style of the 'Warlord Chronicles' by Bernard Cornwell.

Britons vs Anglo-Saxons in a multi-player Lion Rampant game organised by Matt.

Game is being held upstairs at the Abbey Baptists, open from 9am on Saturday 23rd April (St George's Day!) and should last into late afternoon.

Don't worry if you can't get there earlier as new forces will be entering the game as it goes along.

Still Going

After an hiatus, due to COVID, the Club is back on it's feet and running.

It is still at the Baptists, but has relocated upstairs after the club was gazumped by the line dancers, who have taken over the main hall on Tuesdays. This means there is limited space available but we do have storage for the terrain which is free to use for anyone who turns up.

Most things are still organised over on the Facebook group (or by the Secret Masters, who we are not allowed to talk about.)

There's also provisional plans to get the hall for a big weekend game or two.
