St George on the Water

It's that time of year again, with the St Georges Day game scheduled for this Saturday (18th April). An early kick off (9 to 10am) at the Baptist Hall. For those who don't follow the group on Facebook the info is as follows...

This time the club will be doing the battle of Presque Isle, Royal Navy vs. the US Navy on Lake Erie, in 1813 (part of the War of 1812). This is the main game of the day, allowing Martin to sail his paper boats a bit. There should be room for 7-8 players, with each player getting to command a couple of craft.

There's also a 40K game arranged for the day as well. An Armageddon themed Apocalypse with Orks against a variety of Imperium forces. Anyone who would like to join in is welcome, however, they are in great need of Imperial forces. If you do want to join in, please contact Scott Bradford ASAP.

The hall will also be free for any other games that people may wish to play but can't make it for the full day.

Also people should keep June 20th free as it's Waterloo time! Another all-day event, this time commemorating the 200th anniversary of the battle.
